HURLEY-WATTLESClaude Hurley surprised his friends at this place by slipping- to Danville, 111., August 30, 1920, where he was united in marriage to Miss Lorene Wattles, of Williamsport, Ind., Rev. Keenen, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating.| The groom is the only son of Mrs. j George Hurley, of Brownstown, and i for several years has been one ofI Jackson county's successful school• teachers. He first met his bride in i 1918 when both were attending Central Normal college. They came here Sunday night and at present are at the home of the groom's mother. They expect to make Brownstown i their home. The Banner joins their friends in extending congratulations.
