Moyer, CookSusan Louise Moyer and Mickey Norman Cook were married at 3 p.m. June 29, 1991, in St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. Thomas V. Manning officiated.The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Moyer of 304 N. Scott St. The groom is a son of Barbara Cook of 825 Oak St. and the late Dominic “Shiga” Cook.The bride wore a white satin gown accented with sequins, pearls, a back bow and an illusion and lace-edged chapel-length train with cut-out appliques and panels of appliques. A contour crown of white flowers with pearls and sequins held her double-tier pouf adorned with pearls and her shoulder-length veil. She carried a cascade of Casablanca lilies, dendrobiums and pink sweetheart roses. She also wore her mother’s wedding garter belt.Kristen Dudash was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Michelle Haswell and Billie Jo Cook, groom’s sister. They wore petal pink taffeta gowns and carried European arrangements of lilies, alstroemeria and dendrobiums in shades of pink with touches of white.Carl Cook was best man for his brother. Ushers were Bill “Nicki” Moyer, bride’s brother, and Doug Rees.Music was provided by Audrey Jones.A reception took place in St. Mary Parish Center. The bride’s grandmother, Margaret Young, designed and baked the weddingMarti Portrait StudioMrs. and Mr. Coolccake.After a trip to the Poconos, the couple resides in New Castle.The bride, a graduate of the Lawrence County Area Vocational-Technical School, graduated summa cum laude from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor’s degree in management. She also attended the Pennsylvania State University where she was an honor student. Mrs. Cook is an accounts receivable group leader with Fishers Big Wheel.Her husband, also a Vo-Tech graduate, is a truck driver and paver operator with C.J. Long Paving Co. He also serves with the National Guard.
