Landes officiated at the double ring candlelight ceremony before altar arrangements linked in greenery with white mums.Parents of the couple are Mr and Mrs. Gordon L. Bowers, 2406 Canyon Creek Drive in Richardson and Mr, and Mrs. Arthur G Malzahn, 2208 Garden Oaks in Irving.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of sheer silk organza The empire was overlayed with scalloped Venise lace forming the mandarin neckline and extending to the cuffed full sheer bishop sleeves. The bouffant skirt was enhanced with a detachable train from the back waist line which was accented with a self bow and extended to chapel length. She wore a chapel length illusion attached to a Juliet cap done with pearls. She carried a cascade of stephanotis centered with a cattleva orchid.VMiss Paula Bowers was her sister’s maid of honor.
