Heefner, Lietuenant United States Air Force, was solemnized Saturday evening at 3:30 o’clock in the First Presbyterian church.The bride is the daughter of Mi*, and Mrs. Norman F. Brighton, 13 Leary street, Cochituate, Mass., and the bridegroonPs pur-ents are Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Heefner, 708 North 12th street.The Rev. Thomas G. Melton Jr. officiated at the candlelight, double ring service before an altar appointed with bouquets of White Qhifia. , muira, f J\eens gnd , tjeral candelabra holding lighted whitetapers.Nuptial music was provided by Elsie Haakonson, organist, who ! played the traditional wedding ‘marches and accompanied Edward Eliingson Jr. as he sang O Promise Me” and “The Lord’.i Prayer”.★ ★ ★As the parents of the bride were unable to be present, she was escorted to aisle and given in marriage on their behalf by the father of the bridegroom. She wore a ballerina-length gown of candle-j light brocade, designed with' square neckline, elbow length sleeves and bouffant skirt. The dress was sprinkled with rhinestones and sequins and the crown which held her waist-length veil also was rhinestone and sequin trimmed. Her jewelry consisted of a pair of rhinestone and peerl earrings, and she carried a cascade bouquet of white carnations and stephanotis.Prudence Heefner, sister of the bridegroom, was maid of honor. She wore a pin-tucked dress of pink crystalette with a headdress of pink flowers and lace. Her cascade bouquet was of pink carnations and pompons.★ * * ■*-The bridegroom was attended bv Lt. He entered the Air Force in 1934 and graduated last week fr^th basic multi-engine pilot school, Vance Air Force Base as Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.Upon their return from thq wadding trip the young couple Will be at home at Randolph Air Force Base, Randolph Field, near San Antonio, Tex.
