J. Rowan near Ainsworth at noon September 1. Forty-two guests assembled to witness the ceremony which was performed bv Dr. J. A. Kennedy, pastor of the Ainsworth United Presbyterian church. Preceding the coming of the bride and groom,Mrs. Anna Barnes McAter of Viola, 111., played the Vene-Love Sone and Misstian FlorenceSong Megcfeisen, thesang“Be-after of thegroom’s sister, loved, It Is Morn, which to the strains Lohengrin wedding march the groom, accompanied by Dr. Kennedy, took his place beneath a bower of autumn foliage and there awaited the bride who was accompanied to the groom’s side by her father. The pair was united in a beaut i ful double ring service and were presented to the guests by the pastor who aUo announced that congratulations were in order to Mr. and Mrs. Rowan who were at the same time celebrating their thirty-fifth wedding anniversary. An elaborate four-course wedding was served by Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Dicken, assisted by the Misses Carrie Colthurst, Ethel Henderson, Maud Mc-Crtedy, Wilma and Helenconsisted of linens, cutglass, painted china, silverware, cut flowers and many other useful articles.
