Chicago Heights, in a double-ring ceremony read on August 4 by the Rev. /Dean Mues.The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Werner Schmidt of Park Forest, and her bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Elizabeth Paluszkiewicz of Homewood and the late Felix Paluszkiewicz.“Holv God We Praise Thv Name” was sung by Roger Owen during the nuptials. Norma Oswald, organist, played “Praise to the Lord, the Almighty” and offered Handel’s “Allegro Maesto” as recessional music.FOR HER WEDDING, MissSchmidt chose a silk chiffon gown with Queen Anne neckpiece with silk chiffon veil and carried a bouquet of longstemmed red and yellow roses. Her attendants were attired alike in floor-length dresses of spring green and carried long-stemmed yellow roses.Elizabeth Schmidt of Dallas, Texas, was her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Ulrica Schmidt of Park Forest, also a sister of the bride; Doris Wagner of Bloomington, Theresa Paluszkiewicz of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Laura Paluszkiewicz of Homewood.The bridegroom was served by William Hildreth of ParkForest as best man and by Russell Brower of Peotone and Charles Bremigan andAnother groomsman was Stanley Paluszkiewicz, brother of the bridegroom, who also served as an usher along with David Schmidt, brother of the bride.A wedding reception was held at the Sheraton-Home-wood Inn following the late afternoon ceremony.THE NEW MRS. Paluszkiewicz graduated from Northern Illinois university, DeKalb, and is now a registered nurse at Suburban Hospital and Medical center in Hoffman Estates. The bridegroom is a Purdue university graduate employed by Texas Instruments, Arlington Heights.The couple are making their first home in Hoffman Estates.
