The City-County park, north of Princeton, was the setting for the summer wedding of Miss Pamela M Gibbs, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Stanton Gibbs, route 2, Princeton, to Max A Horton.Jr , Fairborn, Ohio, son of Max A. Horton. Sr . SheffieldThe wedding couple exchanged their rings and vows at 10 a m Saturday, Aug 20, before the Rev Harold Burkey, officiating minister, and the assembled guests.The bride was given in marriage by her father We've Only .Just Begun was the song chosen for the outdoor nuptial The bride wore an off-white cotton polyester gown, fashioned with a scoop neckline and lace pufteduj£ddincjsleeves. The A-line skirt was bordered with a lace flounce and trimmed in satin ribbon Completing the bride's attire were a white and pink picture hat, with pink ribbon trim, a heart necklace, given by the bridegroom, and a stone ring The bride’s bouquet was of pink and white carnations and pink plaid ribbon Maid of honor, JevnelleVHorton, sister of the bridegroom, was dressed in a grey blue and white striped, cotton polyester gown, complimented by a blue cotton shawl and a white picture hat Miss Horton's hand bouquet was comprised of mixed flowers and white ribbon Best man was Wayne Gibbs, brother of the bride. Paula Purvis, cousin of thebride, registered the 60 guests who attended the reception at the Wyanet VFW hall. Also helping with the reception were Mrs Merle Purvis, aunt of the bride. Mrs Norman King, cousin of the bride, Nancy Behrens, Heidi Horton, sister of the bridegroom, and Jayne Horton, sister-in-law of the bridegroomThe bride graduated from Princeton high school and has been working as a freelance typist.Mr Horton graduated from Rantoul Township high school and is now stationed at the Wright-Patterson airforce base. Ohio.Mr. and Mrs. Horton are establishing their home in Fairborn, Ohio.
