#7Missm .Harriman Becomest-OfG.A traditional gown of satin and lace with a brief bolero, clocheshaped skirt and chapel tram was chosen by Miss Sarah Jean Harriman for her marriage Saturday afternoon.Her costume, designed and made by Miss. Billie Lea Harriman, her sister, was completed with a miniature coif of lacescallops holding her illusion veil.. She carried phalaenopsis orchids interlaced with stephanotis and English ivy.The bride, given in marriage by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Harriman, 2411 Terrace. The bridegroom, Ernest Guy Boardman Jr., is the son of Mr, and Mrs. E. G. Boardman Sr. of Austin.Vous were read in Floral Heights Methodist Church which was decorated with spiral candelabra accented with greenery on either side of the altar.Officiants were Dr. T. Lee Miller, pastor of the church, and the Rev. Michael Daves, pastor of the First Methodist Church, Holliday. Organ and vocal selections were presented by Mrs. Gerald Deatherage and Mr, and Mrs. Floyd H. Atherton, respectively.Miss Harriman served her sister as maid of honor. Her pale blue costume was fashioned like the bride’s, and she wore a lace covered pillbox. She carried a nosegay of pale blue stephanotis with English ivy.Hank Schleider of Austin was best man. Ushers were Charles Foster Jr. and Ronald McDougle,both of Dallas.*The serving table was covered by a white lace cloth with a silver epergne filled with white gladioli and white pompons. The registry table was covered with scalloped organza and held a silver candlestick as well as the bride's bouquet.Assistants were Misses Mary Chipley, Vy Townsend, Mmes.' Harold Duncan, James Elliott,Sumner Smith, and aunts of thebride, Mmes. A. R. Harrimanand James Thompson. Mrs. Ronald McDougle presided at the guest book and Miss Cheryl Berry distributed rice bags.Out-of-town guests from Missouri were Messrs. and Mmes. A. R. Harriman, Malta Bend;A. E. ERNEST GUY BOARDMAN JR.Austin where the bridegroom attended the University of Texas and Texas Law School. Since 1961 he has been in the Army. He was graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1957.The bride was graduated from Wichita Falls High School and presented as a Junior Forum debutante in 1959. She received the B.A. degree from Texas Tech in 1963 where she was a member of the Pre-Law Society. She is a member of the National Institute of Bankers and was employed by First Wichita National Bank.The rehearsal party was heldFriday evening in the Captain’s Room at the Trade Winds. A9bouquet of blue tipped mums and pompons with accents of English ivy and votive lights decorated the tables.Prenuptial courtesies included a luncheon given by Mmes. Harold Duncan, James Elliott and Suhmer Smith; a miscellaneous shower was given by Mmes. Don Culwell and Jack W.
