Virginia Winters Marries Levon ReedDouble Ring Ceremony SaturdayVirginia Winters, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W\ G. Carter and Levon Reed, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Reed all of Bowie werein marriage, Saturday, Sept. 1st, at eight p.m. in the garden at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Moore of Bowie.The Rev. Glendell Jones, pastor of the First Methodist church, read the double ring ceremony.Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Moore attended the couple as matron of honor and best man.The bride wore a semi-formal dress of ice blue taffeta and navy accessories. She carried a nosegay of white carnations.Immediately following the ceremony a reception was held at the Moore home. Only friends and relatives attended. Mrs. Roger Heinrich served the wedding cake and Mrs. JameyReed powred punch. — ~Mrs. Reed is employed at Big State, Inc. in Bowie.
