Tbeirmarriage came as a complete surprise to i heir friends here and the information was not given to a reporter of the' Mirror until this after-, noon.Miss Blizek was bom and raised in this community where she attended th? local schools, graduating with the class of 1925. She enrolled at the Iowa State College at Ames the following fall and has attended there during the past till'2C years in the study of Home Economies. At Amos* her popularity and scholarship was rewarded by membership in* the Al- j ph:i Delta Pi sorority and was pledged tD the Jack O’Lantcrn, honorary for Sophomore women. Later sho was idected to the Molar Board, a national organization for college women.Robert M. Tarbell is not well; krown here.' He graduated from! Ames last year where he met thej woman of his choice and is now em-j ployed as engineer for the John : h* Deere Tractor Company of Waterloo.Following the marriage ceremony ihe young couple immediately went »- to Waterloo where they are now at homo lo their friends at their apartment at 1220 West 4th Street.The many friends of Mrs. Tarbell j here will unite in wishing the besi jvoung couple.
