Rmqistbr:—A large and pleasant party of the friends of Mr. and Mrs. G Bhodes met at their residence on the evening of August 30th to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their wedded life. The weather bad been somewhat unfavorable but the invited gueete were not to be detained at home by slight ehowera or the show of possible rain.Mr. Rhodes was born in thia township, and although he has tried life in the west, and more recently determined to make hie home in Kamas, he has retorned to hie old home and declares Berlin, if not the beat place in the world, at least the beet he Las ever seen.The evening was enlivened with music from a fine organ, several Jittle girle winning great applause by their performance. A boantifal collation was served, and at a late hoar the gui e's departed with well wishes to their hosts. The presents were numerous and seemed selected for use as w* 11 as ornament.
