Theresa Lorenzini and A. Beltramini WedMiss Theresa Lorenzini, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Lorenzini, 210 West Second street, became the bride of Ambrose Beltramini, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Beltramini, 504 West St. Paul street, in a ceremony performed by Rev. Nicholas Blanc in St. Anthony’s Catholic church at 1:30 Monday afternoon.Alderman Anton Lorenzini, a brother of the bride, gave her in marriage. Miss Margaret Biama presided at the organ, using the familiar wedding marches for the processional and recessional. During the service Miss Elaine Piscia, of Chicago, a cousin of the bridegroom, sang “On This Day O Beautiful Mother” and “Ave Maria.” The ceremony was attended by several hundred relatives and friends.The bride was attired in white brocaded taffeta and wore a finger tip veil with a blusher. She carried a prayer book, a gift of the Spring Valley Junior Woman’s club of which she is a member, upon which rested a gardenia. A shower of white satin streamers fell from the book which was caught with stephanotis. Her only jewelry was an 80-year-old cross, formerly owned by her great-grandmother.Miss Rita Beltramini, sister of the bridegroom, was the bridesmaid, her pale peach brocaded taffeta creation being made on lines similar to those of the bride’s gown. She carried a colonial bouquet and wore a gladiola in her hair. Her jewelry was a strand of pearls. Frank Lorenzini served as attendant to Mr. Beltramini.A reception was held during the afternoon and early evening at the home of the bride’s parents for members of the two families and the many friends of the couple.The bride changed to a going-away outfit of navy blue redingote over a printed dress with navy accessories before their departure on a motor honeymoon trip. Her corsage was of gardenias. Upon their return they will make their home in an apartment in the Clark Greener home at 424 East Erie street.Mrs. Beltramini and her husband are both popular in the Spring Valley younger social set and are both graduates of Hall Township high school, she with the class of 1937 and he with the 1984 class. He also attended St. Bede college for two years. The bride is now employed at the Thompson Drug store while Mr. Beltramini is employed as a delivery man for the Orsingers bakery of La Salle,llt;
