COUPLE ARE MARRIED••Miss Arvetta Carter daughter of the late H. B. Carter and Mrs. Carter, of this city, and Mr. Jesse Rogers, son of E. L. Rogers, of Frankfort, surprised their many friends very much last week when they made known their marriage at Lexington, Ky., on Saturday, August 17, with only a few of their friends witnessr ing the ceremony where they motored from Frankfort.Miss Carter was one of the most popular girls of this city, a student of the Olive Hill city schools, and had been in Frankfort for some time, where she was employed. The groom is a son of E. L. Rogers, of Frankfort, and one of the most beloved young men of that city. They have p. host of friends whom the HERALD joins in wishing them a happy and prosperous life. They will reside in Frankfort, where they both have employment.
