Hall, which occurred Sunday afternoon. Elder D. E. Baker of Rayle City performed the nuptials in the presence of sixty guests at the* home of .lie bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. .1 Hunter, 1007 West Goodall St.. at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. The impressive double ring ritual was used in the ceremony. Miss Vivian \Vak« field of Herrin played the wedding march, and accompanied Mrs. Leona O’Neil James, who sang Bond’s “I Love You Truly,” just before the vows were trotlied.Miss Hunter is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Hunter and is well educated having received her degree from the S. I. N. U. in 1922. 'She was a teacher in the Marion Junior High for several years, and for the past two years has been teaching I.at in and English in the Waltonville high school in Jefferson county.The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Hall of Xenia and is a member of the faculty at the Teachers college at Oarbondole, at which place he met the girl who became his w'ife in the ceremony of Sunday. He is well known in Marion, particularly by the crowds of young people from here who attend the college. Mr. Hall was attended by John Oeth of Harrisburg as best man. ^Fo lowing the marriage an informal q reception was tendered the - cw-ly-weds at which time they received the felicitations of their relatives and {] friends. The bride’s mother served a sj delicious ice course to the guests, after which the new Professor and Mrs. Hall slipped away on their motor f, honeymoon, their destination unre R vealed.
