(Bud) Richardson. Joplin, were unitea in marriage on July 2D in a candlelight ceremony at the Immanuel Baptist church in Miami.The Rev. Roy Lovell performed the double-ring ceremony.Mrs. Shirley Patterson sang Evergreen,” “Whither Thou Goest,” “The Wedding Prayer” and “We’ve Only Just Begun.” accompanied by Mrs. Carrie Lohman on the organ.The bride, given in marriage by her parents, was escorted by her father. Her formal wedding dress, fashioned by her mother, was of fantasy satin with polyester chiffon sleeves and had pearl buttons down the bodice of the dress. It featured an Empire waist, gored skirt and bishop sleeves with fitted cuffs.The bride's jewelry was a single strand of pearls and pearl earrings, gifts from the bridegroom. The cathedra 1-length veil was of bridal net with rose lace. Lace also trimmed the crown which secured the veil. The bride carried a white bouquet of miniature sweetheart roses, carnations, daisies and lily of the valley, with baby's breath, white streamers and bells.Miss Kim McCumber. Miami, was maid of honor. Mrs. Brenda Hunt. Blue Eye. Mo., sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Miss Nancy Stipp, Joplin, and Mrs. Kathy Moudy, Miami.Exercises are held each weekday morning at 9 o'clock at Miami Towers Senior Citizens Center.TTu* ronfpr u.m11were bridesmaids. They were attired in formal Empire style dresses of pink floral chiffon crepe and blue floral chiffon crepe. Each carried a nosegay of pink, blue and yellow ca; nations.The flower girl was Miss Shanna Hall. Fairland, cousin of the bride. Her dress was fashioned of the same material as the bridesmaids’ dresses. Ring bearer was Donnie Ha mar II, Miami, cousin of the bride.Best man was Dana Snodgrass. Joplin. Groomsmen were Jack Brady Jr., Miami, brother of the bride, and Terry Jewsbury and Jerry Jewsbury, both of Joplin. Ushers were Teryl Malone, Seneca, and Feryl Malone. Grove.Mrs. Gara Scroggs, Miami, grandmother of the bride, was an honored guest.Mrs. Brady wore a pastel pink formal dress with matching pink lace overblouse. Mrs. Richardson wore a pastel blue formal polyester dress with a gold buckle.A reception was held at the church. The bride's table was covered with a lace cloth brought from Scotland by the bnde’s uncle, Jim Brady. The toast glasses were a gift from Miss Kim McCumber and were brought from Naples. Italy.The three-tiered wedding cake was decorated in pink, blue and yellow. Presiding at the table were Mrs. Linda Hamar. Mrs. Clara Lea Lowhr, Mrs. Vickie Fields and Miss Belinda Stover.Mrs. Shelly Brady, sister-in-law of the bride, was in charge of the guest book.
