Luchsinger-Hervol wedding vows saidLiana Luehsinger and James Hervol exchanged wedding vows and rings during a Nuptial Mass Aug. 2 at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Father James Lafrenz officiating,Two large floor baskets of daisies in pastel colors flanked the altar which had two candelabra entwined with pastel daisies and two baskets of pastel daisies on each side of the sanctuary. Pastel daisies also marked the family pews.Parents of the couple are Mr, and Mrs. E.P. Luehsinger and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hervol Sr.As fJie bride walked down the aisle, the organist, Cecelia Lundy played the'/Wedding March.” Mrs. Lundy accompanied Marsha Cook who sang “Let There Be Peace” and “I Honestly Love You” during the Mass.Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of white bridal satin with a cumberbund waistband and a sweetheart neckline. The full sleeves were gathered at the wrist by a wide cuff fastened with pearl buttons. The gown was fashioned into .a wide ruffle at the skirt edge. The bride’s mantiUa-style, floor-length veil was worn by her sister, Cathy Hervol, and the pearl tiara was worn by the bridegroom’s sister, Pat Foster.The bridal bouquet was of cascading daisies in pastel colors, baby's breath, ivy and white streamers.For something old, the bride had a penny in each shoe, one with her birth -date and one with the bridegroom’s birthdate. For something new, she had her bridal dress; for something borrowed, she wore a pearldrop necklace which her mother wore at her wedding, and for something blue, she had the traditional blue garter.Cathy Hervol was her sister’s matron of honor. The bodice of the dress was accented by a square neckline and a sash at the empire waist was fashioned into a bow at the back of the dress. She wore a pink picture hat banded with a pink satin ribbon and pastel daisies.The bridesmaids, Annette Deerman, Patty Luehsinger, the bride’s sister, and Virginia Kennon, wore formal gowns of blue, mint green and yellow crepe styled like the matron of honor’s dress, Tlielr picture hats were in colors to match their dresses and were banded with satin ribbons and pastel colored daisies.All of the attendants carried bouquets of pastel daisies, baby’s breath and greenery with, pastel streamers.The flower girls, Michelle Foster and Dana Ligocky, both nieces of the bride, wore empire-style, full-length dresses of lavender crepe featuring round necklines. They carried baskets of pastel daisy petals. The ringbearer, Jennifer Luehsinger, sister of the bride, wore an orange crepe dress styled like the flower girls' and she carried the rings on a pillow covered with daisy print whitechiffon.The bride’s dress and her attendants gowns were made by Cecelia Janeeka.Frankie Hervol, served his brother as best man. Tom Bill Black, Paul Luehsinger, the bride’s brother, and Kenny Treadwell, Fort Hancock, Tex., were ushers.For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Luehsinger wore a formal gown of white with a green flower design. Mrs. Hervol’s dress was an empire-style, floor-length blue polyester knit. Both mothers had corsages of white daisies.Entering the church, the bride stopped to present her mother with a long-stemmed green daisy, and as she left the church, she presented the groom's mother with a long-stemmed blue daisy. The bride also gave a white daisy to the Virgin Mary at the conclusion of the ceremony.A buffet-dinner reception at the Rio Mimbres Country Club followed the wedding. Centering the bride andgroom's table was a four:tiered cake, iced with white and separated by Greek columns, flanked by four cakes with a floral arrangement of daisies entwining the base. As they cut the cake, the bride and groom stood under an archway of pastel daisies and ivy.Assisting at the reception were Cindy Schultz at the punch bowl and Penny Zachek at the cake. Cindy Allen and Lory Gilbert served at the buffet and Denna Petit! registered the more than 200 guests.Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. John Hervol, El Paso; Nadine Hengler, El Paso; Mr. and Mrs. Glendale Janeeka, Albuquerque; Mrs. Fred Grelte, AJamosa. Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Gary Keith, Vone; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hart, El Paso; Lyle Monroe, the bride's grandfather from Woodburn, Ore.Also, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Grider, Truth or Consequences: Mr, and Mrs. Phil Coats. Las Cruces; Mr. and Mrs.WJ. Janeeka, Las Cruces; Mr. and Mrs. Ilt;eon Teague, Gallup; Pat Foster, the groom’s sister from Silver City; Carolyn Ligocky, Uvalde, Tex., and Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Treadwell, Fort Hancock, Tex.After a wedding trip to lluidoso, the couple is at home southwest of Deming.
