Honoring: her daughter, Gail, Mrs. G. E. Darroch entertained at tea last Saturday afternoon at the home of her friend. Mrs. I*. R. English. Don Mills. Until the Darroch family left for England two years ago, they lived in St. George’s Manor Returning from England in June, they have taken up residence temporarily at St. Andrew's Towers, Willowdale.On Saturday, September 5, their daughter. Gail. •* being married in Humber Valley 1 nited Church. The groom is Mr. •Ilt;nn Benjafield, of London. Ont.. son of Mrs. F. R. Benjafield. arid the late Mr. Benjafield. Gail remained in Canada to continue her studies at Western University from which she graduated la‘t spring. He fiance walt; doing post graduate work at the «ame university. Next year they will live in Boston where he i« continuing his graduate work at Brandets l’ •r-t*.Two parties were given in honor of the bride in London. Tn Toronto. Mrs. Roland Morris and her daughter. Mrs. Ted Doherty, gave a luncheon at the Granite f lub. Mrs. William Grant entertained at a barbeque party and shower, and Miss Joyce Mitchell gave a miscellaneous shower at her home onBromley Cres., with Mrs. John Hobson as co-holt;tess. On Friday evening the groom’s mother is entertaining at the Skyline Hotel, following the rehearsal.
