Othmar Schroeder on August 22 at 9 a. m.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Merkley of R. 4, Jasper. and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs, Vernon Farrell of Loogootee.Maid of honor was Miss Mary Anne Merkley. Jasper, sister of the bride. Mrs. James L. Kramer, Holland, sister of the bride, and Miss Betty Kleiser. Jasper, friend of the bride, were bridesmaids.Mr. Farrell chose* as his best man his brother, James M. Farrell, of Loogootee. Ushers were James L. Kramer, Holland, brother-in-few of the bride, and Richard Stetfcer.The bride, given away by her father, wore a gown of white organdy over net. Her veil was caught to a crown headpiece adorned with pearls, and she earned a bridal bouquet of red rases.The maid of honor and bridesmaids wore street-length dresses of powder blue nylon organdy and powder blue crown headpieces.The mother of the bride wore a dress of yellow organdy, with-white accessories, and the bridegroom's mother wore a green dacron? dress with white accessories.Breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents, and a dinner was served at the K of C. A reception at the VFW hall followed.The couple's new home address is 1915 Nowland Avenue. Indianapolis.
