In the living room of his new home, 2034 Scripture Street, John W. Rochelle and Miss Margie La Verne Tunnell, daughter of Mrs. Aline Tunnell of Ben Wheeler, were united in marriage at 8 p. m. Fri day, when Dr. Frank Weedon read the ring service in the presence of a few close friends. The living room was decorated in summer flowers. The couple was unattended. The whole wore a black alpaca with a green and gold flower trim at the throat. Immediately following the ceremony the couple left for a wed ding trip of two weeks to Monter rey, and other points in Mexico. The bride has been attending Teachers College. Rochelle is con nected with the Martin Lumber Co. and has been a resident of Denton @ number of years. Those present at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Brooks, Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Akers and son, Buddy, Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Baldridge and daugh- G. W. Martin, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Blair and daughter, Rochelle, Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Harris, Mrs. Frank Weedon, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Car penter, Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Skiles, Phillip D. Coury, and Mrs. Baldridge of Tyler.
