RENWICK—BUNSTONA pretty wedding was solemnized at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. John Bunston, Egremont, on Wednesday. August 20, when their daughter. Nellie, became the bride of Mr. Wilfred Flenwiek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Renwick, also of Egremont. The ceremony, which took place at. 4BO in the afternoon, was performed by the Rev. W. Johnston, pastor of Holstein Presbyter-ian church, and was solemnized in the presence of about fifty invited guests. Both were unattended.At the appointed hour, the groom took his stand at the altar and immediately after, the bride, who was given in marriage by her brother. Mr. James Bunston, took her placn beside him. The bride looked very charming in her wedding gown of white silk crepe trimmed with white ribbon. She carried a bouquet of white asters and ferns.The ceremony over and congratulations and good wishes extended the newly-married couple, the company sat down to a sumptuous wedding supper, the bride's table being graced with a magnificent three-storey wedding cake. The tabledecorations of sweet peas were very pretty, and following an hour at the festive board, during which short complimentary addresses were delivered by Rev. Mr. Johnston, Dr. Sneath and Mr. Robert Renwick, Sr., the remainder of the evening was spent in dancing and other amusements.The popularity of the bride was fittingly attested in the large number of beautiful, costly and useful wedding gifts received. Mrs. Renwick was for fourteen years a valued member of Dromore choir, and her many friends wish her much happiness. Mr. Renwick, too, is very popular in the Dromore community, and The Chronicle joins the whole neighborhood in wishing the young couple every success in their journey over life’s matrimonial sea.
