Scott Rodenbaugh with Rev. David Conrad, friend of the bride’s family from St. John Lutheran Church in Avoca, Wise, officiating at the 3:30 p.m. ceremony.Adding to the garden setting of the altar yellow mum plants surrounded the Communion rail and Boston ferns lined the steps to the altar Pews along the bridal aisle were marked with lighted candles and whitesatin bows.Mr. and Mrs. John J. Libertyn, of McDonald are the parents of the bride and Gale M. Rodenbaugh and the late Grayce Gaffney Rodenbaugh. of Hermitage. Pa are the parents of thegroom.The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Viola Kummer, of Girard and the late Norman E. Kummer and the late George and Helen Libertyn, of Niles.Selections sung by Debra Kyle, of Medina. 0. accompanied by William Speers included. Time in a Bottle”, “Evergreen”, “There is Ixive”, “Nocturne,” “Opus 72 No. 1“, “0 Perfect l,ove” and “The Prince of Denmark’s March”. Iistopad was theusher.The wedding ceremony was written by the bndal couple including their own nuptial vows.Given in marriage by her father the bride was lovely in an original gown of ivory prelude satin and ecru alencon lace fashioned with an all alencon lace bodice with Queen Anne neckline and long tapered sleeves From the peplum waist an A-line skirt flowed into a cathedral length train with scalloped hemline and sprays of alencon lace motifs.*##4A derby hat held her split, rolled-edged veil of imported French illusion and she carried a cascade of stephanotis, baby’s breath, pale yellow Irish Eyes rosettes with spider greens and English ivy tied withMrs. J. Scott Rodeaboogh###ivory satin ribbon.Identically styled gowns in buttercup knit with detachable lace peplum jackets with bishop sleeves were worn by the honor attendant and bridesmaid.They carried nosegays of stephanotis, yellow roses, orange miniature carnations, and baby's breath with asparagus ferns showered with yellow satin ribbon. They wore matching flowers in their hairThe mother of the bride wore a cocoa chiffon gown with fitted ivory lace bodice complemented with a chiffon blouson jacket with bishop sleeves. She pinned a corsage of yellow sweetheart roses and baby’s breath to her bronze beaded bag.Two hundred twenty five guests greeted the bridal couple at the reception held at the Fonderlac Countrv Club in Poland. A beautifully appointed dinner was served following the champagne hour. Bud vases of yellow and orange carnations, baby’s breath and greenery adorned the table. The centerpiece on the head table was similar to the altar arrangement at the church flanked by lighted candelabras.Out-of-town guests included, Mrs. John Novak, aunt of the bride, from Florida, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kummer, of Wisconsin, aunt and uncle of the bride. Rev. and Mrs. David Conrad, of Wisconsin, friends of the bride’s family, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Roy. of Illinois, cousins of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. James Kummer, cousins of the bride, from Wisconsin, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Woods, cousins of the groom, from New Jersey.Following a honeymoon in New York City the couple is residing at 1355 SkylineDrive, Sharpoville, Pa.The bride is a senior at Youngstown State University where she is also employed. The groom, also a senior at Youngstown State University, is employed as a buyer for Wheatland Tube Co. in Wheatland, Pa.The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's father, was held at th Avalon Inn in Howland Twp. on the eve of the wedding.
