Miss Gail Lynn Frelander, daughter of Mrs. Richard Fre-lander, .312 West 13th St., and the iaie Kichara r reiander, became the bride of Mark Alan Kaniff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kaniff, .3907 56th St., Fridayevening.The Rev. Henry A. Mouw officiated at the 8 p.m. ceremony in Sixth Reformed Church. Mrs. Robert Bareman organist, accompanied the soloist, GregHewitt.The bride was attired in a floor - length gown of white mira - mist featuring empire waist and long sleeves. The gown was trimmed from shoulder to hem with venice Jace and her double mantilla was trimmed with the samelace. She carried an arrangement of white and melon daisies.The couple's attendants included Mrs. Patti Tease, sister of the bride, as matron of honor; Miss Marilyn Frelander, sister of the bride, Miss Diana Kaniff, sister of the groom and Mrs. John Grit, bridesmaids; Dave Kaniff, brother of the groom as best man, James Kaniff as groomsman. Usners were Richard Groenewoude and Donald Kammeraad.The bride's honor attendantwore a floor - length gown of coral dacron, flocked with white flowers featured empire waist(BuWord photo)and long sleeves and frenchcuffs.The gown was trimmed atwaist with velvet ribbon wnichfell into a bow with streamersin the back. She carried a nosegay arrangement of yellow andwhite daisy pompons.The bridesmaids wore gowns identical to that of the honor attendant in yellow. The bridesmaids carried nosegays of yellow and melon daisy pompons outlined with fern.The flower girl, Nancy Kammeraad, was attired in a green gown similar to the bridesmaidsand carried a basket with rose petals. Mike Kammeraad served as ringbearer.The couple greeted their guests at a reception held in the church fellowship room. Servingas master and mistress of ceremonies was Mr. and Mrs. Norman Frelander. Jean Kaniff, sister of the groom, and Mrs. Mary Kaniff, sister - in - law of the groom, were in the gift room.Tom Knowles and Connie Kammeraad were in charge oi the guest book. Punch was served by Sherry Knowles andDanny Frelander.The couple left on a southern wedding trip. They will make their home at Ken Mar Trailer Court, 1139 Lincoln Ave. Thebride is employed by HollandCity Hospital and the groom by i Beech-Nut Inc.
