Miss Patricia Ann Prewilt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd B. Prewitt, Route 3, and Roy Wayne Skinner, son of William Skinner, Salisbury, and Mrs. Herbert Kruse, Moberly, were married at 2 p.m. Aug. 14 in the St. Pius X Church.Father Fred Barnett performed the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated with vases of red and white roses.Bruce Formen, organist, accompanied Mrs. Arthur Klein, who sang several wedding selections.^ Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a ftoor-length white satin gown styled with an empire waistline. The bodice, overlaid with lace, was accented with a stand-up collar and lung sleeves. Lace and seed pearls trimmed the A-line skirt and detachable train. Her veil was held in place with a satin how and she carried an arrangement of red roses.Miss Becky Prewitt, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a floor-length gown of light blue polyester voilie over taffetta designed with an empire waistline, Victorian sleeves and stand-up collar trimmed in white lace, softly gathered shirt and ruffled hemline with a long detachable voilie bow in the hack. They wore matching headpieces and carried a bouquc of rosebuds tied with light blue velvet ribbon.Mrs. Marion Eastman, Marshall, sister of the bridegroom; Miss Rita Mae Skinner, Moberly, also a sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Linda Specie. Ft. Myers, Fla., cousin of the bride, were bridesmaids. The bride's table was centered with a four-tiered cake decorated with red roses and topped with a bride and bridegroom, red roses and greenery.Janet Hellstein, Kansas City, cousin of the bride, was in charge of the guest book. Mrs. Valerie Rotji, Cairo; Miss Lavina Mozingo, Moberly; Miss Sharon White, Moberly and Miss Kathy Specie, Ft. Myers, Fla„ were in charge of the gift table. Misses White and Specie are cousins of the bride.Miss Diana Che atom, Novelty, and Miss Melinda Hettinger, Knox City,served the cake, Mrs. Lindell Bean, Jacksonville, and Mrs. William Griffin, Moberly, poured the punch.Folllowing a trip to St. Louis, the newlyweds are living at Cairo.Mrs. Skinner is a graduate of Northeast R-IV school at Cairoand Moberly Junior College. She is a senior at Northeast Missouri State College, Klrksvllle, whereshe is majoring in elementary education.
