GREENFIELDFavorite PhotosJudith Ann Henze Is Wed to John Greenfield,Autumn softly touched the last Saturday in August to make it a day of cool loveliness and pleasurable remembrance for the impressive wedding of Miss Judith Ann Henze, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Henze, who became the bride of John Sterling Greenfield, son of Mrs. John Greenfield of Kamrar and the late Mr. Greenfield. The Rev. LaVerne R. Meinecke read the marriage lines for the doublering service at 7:30 o’clock in the evening before an altar appointed with arrangements of white gladioli and asters, pot* ted palms and lighted tapers.Nuptial organ music was played by the Misses Bev e r 1 e e Weuve and Dona Blood andMrs. rlvaxwBodle brought themessage in song with “O Perfect Love” and “The Lord’s Prayer.” She sang “That Won derful Mother of Mine’ while the mothers of the couple were being seated.Given in marriage by her father, the bride was a picture of youthful loveliness in her full-length sheath gown of French designed scalloped Chant illy lace fashioned with multi p 1 e tiers. The molded bodice was styled with a sabrina neckline and traditional long tapered sleeves. The skirt featured a sweeping Watteau chapel-length train. Her bouffant waist-length veil of imported English illusion fell from a handmade h a i r-braid crown in open work with a pearl design. She carried a white Bible topped with a blue orchid, white rose buds and blue streamers. Her diamond-centered heart-shaped pendant necklace was a gift of the groom.Miss Patty Wood served as maid of honor and -Mrs. John Henze of Marshalltown was brides matron. They were becomingly attired in floor-length gowns of blue flowered brocade with sleeveless bodices, scooped necklines and sheath skirts. They wore matching blue veiled headpieces and carried a single long-stemmed spider chrysanthemum. Petite Jan Buck and Jan Flora of State Center were flower girls and they were prettily frocked in party^length white nylon organza over white taffeta with wide blue sashes ending in large bows. They wore matching blue hair bows and carried white baskets of rose petals. The bride's gown and those of her attendants were made by her mother.Paul Ubben of Ellsworth attended the groom as best man and Stewart Greenfield of Kamrar served his brother as groomsman. The guests were seated by Ben Henze of StateCenter and John Henze of Marshalltown, brothers of the bride, Lyle and Arland Greenfield of Jewell, cousins of the groom. The men of the bridal par t y wore white carnation boutonnieres except the groom who wore a rosebud.The bride’s mother wore an avocado green suit with matching hat and a corsage of white roses. The groom’s mother wore a blue suit with matching hat and a corsage of white roses.A reception for 150 guests followed in the Community hall where Mr. and Mrs. James Flora were dining room host and hostess. The serving table was overlaid with a white linen cloth and centered with a blue and white tiered wedding cake topped with white roses and flanked by tall blue tapers. MissDonna Schoppe and Mrs. Arnold Papenberg catered the reception. Mrs. Ralph Weuve of McCallsburg baked the cake, Assisting in the serving were the Misses Gelene Greenfield, Maureen McDowell, Irene and Margaret Smith, Judy Aves and Jean Hillernan.The gifts were cared for by the Misses Marlene, Carole and Kathy Henze and Marlys Eg-gers. Mrs. Stan Mikutis of Ankeny, sister of the bride, registered the guests.The couple left later on a wedding trip to Yellowstone National Park and other scenic places in that area. The bride wore for traveling, a blue print ed chiffon over taffeta with white accessories and her bridal orchid. Upon their return the couple will make their home on a farm north of Jewell.The bride is a 1965 graduate of West Marshall high school and Mr. Greenfield graduat e d from Kamrar high school and attended Iowa State University. He is presently engaged in farming.Grandparents attending the wedding were Mrs. Alvah Davis of Moulton and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Vandeomter of Kamrar.Guests were present from Kamrar, Melbourne, Williams, Ellsworth, Des Moines, Dows, Marshalltown, Ankeny, Charles City, Colo, Clarion, Blairsburg, Nevada, Webster City, Jewell, Ames, Stanhope, Mc^allsburg, Moulton and State Center.A rehearsal buffet was served by the groom’s mother, Mrs. John Greenfield, assisted by her daughters, Mrs. Ro b e r t Herbst and Mrs. Darrell Klav-er, on Friday evening at the St. Paul Parish House.YAGER ESTATE SOLDThe George and Stella Yager estate property was sold Tuesday in District Court to Glen Weuve who was the highest bidder on the property.
