Married in California.James M. Powell and Miss Ophelia Cross, both well known Visalia young people, were wedded Saturday night at 8 o’clock at the parsonage of the First M. E. church South, Rev. W. A. Booher performing the ceremony. The groom has been in the employ of Goldstein lae-raan for several years, and the bride has been clerking in the Racket Store, Farrow’s and the Home Bakery. They will make their home in this city.—Visalia Daily Times, August 23.
