Tee ceremony over, the bride• party withdrew from the church to the church porch, and there the new is made husband and received the congratulations and we.l wishes of tii* ir friends and relatives, and when those had all beengiven the. happy couple repaired to toe home of the bride's hfrlher, Adolphi IThomas, accompanied bv a large hosti relatiV's and friends, where theywi re served with an elegant repast, composed of ail the delicacies of theTnomas larder The repast being Ver the afternoon and evening were spent m imisio and dancing and the usual merriments of such occasional The bridegroom was formerly a boy o.the neighborhood and the attachment which led up to this union of hears dates back to the school days of both.Mr. Stein is now a resident of Ellin wood, Kan., and has been for some time past and to that place he expec'ssoon to take Ins wife and there takeuu the duties of life with a helpmateall of his own choosing. Miss Thomas is the eldest daughter of Mr Adolph Thomas, m wealthy and influential farmer »f Clinton county. Mi-s Anna w*lt;s a general favorite among her friends; she is generous to a fault and we are satisfied she will make a model wife, not af er the style of the newwoman of *lt;dav. but a good substantialw fe par'a king of the chief characteristics of her fat her and nun her. The bridewore a rich and stylish gown of heaw white corded silk, trimmed in lace and ribbon and the bridal veil wasfastened| to her dark brown hair with orangeI blossoms making the already pretty girl a sweet and charming bride. The bridesmaids wore lovely gowns of ! white cloth trimmed in lace and nbboD. i The bridegroom and his attendants were all dressed in the usual conventional black dress suits. The valuable and useful presents received were toonumerous to mention.
