Davis-FlaterDenise Louise Flater, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Flater, and Lee Hunter Davis, son of Mrs. Lina Davis and the late Robert Clinton Davis, were married Saturday, July 21 at 2 p.m. at Sandymount Methodist Church.The bride, given in marriage by her parents, carried a bouquet of white rosebuds and blue baby’s breath with white lace streamers.The maid of honor was Miss Linda Baker. The bridesmaids were Miss Frankie Friedel and Miss Donna Flater, sister of the bride. Maid of honor and bridesmaids wore matching gowns and picture hats of blue, yellow and mint green respectively. They carried baskets of matching daisies and baby’s breath.The bride made her gowMr. and Mrs. Lee H. Daviswhite puffed crepe.The best man was Len Davis, brother of the groom. Ushers were Wayne Ditman and Wayne Welk.Mrs. Debbie Long, Westminster, was organist.A reception was held in the church hall following the ceremony.The bride is a 1971 graduate of Westminster High Schooland is employed by Leggett Department Store.
