Miss Judy Ann Coleman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd E. Coleman of Joplin, became the bride of Lee Travis Petty, Ill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Travis Petty 11, of Webb City, in a double-ring ceremony solem nized August 26 at the Wedding Chapel of the Flowers on North Main street road. The Rev. A. E. Davidson, min ister of the Empire Baptist church, performed the ceremony. Miss Josephine Coleman, sister of the bride, was the candle lighter. Given in marriage by her fa ther, the bride wore a formal gown of peau de soie styled with a V-shaped waistline, scooped neckline and cap sleeves. Import ed venise lace enhanced the waistline and formed the flowers which accented the skirt. The lace flowers were also re-embroi dered with seed pearls. Her full length veil of silk illusion was touched with lace flower appli ques. She carried a bouquet of yellow carnations. Mrs. Vicky Lee Melton of Jop lin was matron of honor. She wore a yellow chiffon dress. Ron nie Darby of Webb City served as best man. Mrs. Coleman wore a dress of yellow lace. The mother of the groom chose a two-piece pink suit. Following the ceremony, a re ception was held at Cunning ham Park. After a wedding trip to the Ozarks, the couple will reside at 428 East Thirty-ninth, P. East Fiends After a trip to Cheyenne, Wyo., and Jacksonville, Ore., Mr. and Mrs. George Hooper and chil dren, Rodney, Valerie and Kevin, have returned to their home in Carthage. Another daughter, Pamela, accompanied them west. She stayed in Jack sonville and will enter South Oregon college at Ashland, Ore., as a freshman in September. MRS, LEE T. PETTY, TIT
