Boyer the same minister who married her parents officiated at her wedding.The Reverend W J Sawyers heard the vows of the doublering ceremony during a recent candlelight ceremony in the Calvary Temple Assembly of God church in Harvey.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Staat, Jr., 15534 Paulina avenue, Harvey.The bridegroom’s parents areMr. and Mrs. Victor Boyer of 14133 Calumet, Dolton.AFTER A reception in the church parlors attended by 150 guests, the couple left for Beaufort, S.C., where Sergeant Boyer is stationed with the U.S.Marine corps. He will receive his military discharge in August 1969.During their stay in Beaufort, the young bride will be doing substitute teaching. She is a graduate of Thornton Township high school, Thornton Junior college, and attended one year at Evangel college in Springfield, Mo. Upon their return to this area, she plans to fini her college education.Sgt. Boyer is a graduate of Thomridge high school and soon after graduation entered military service.Two soloists participated in the wedding ceremony. Robert Brendel, owner of a piano service in Dolton for whom theyoung bridegroom worked during his high school years, sang “Eternal Life” and Judy Lic-quia, bride’s college friend, sang “Song of Ruth.” Mrs. W. J. Sawyers was the organist and accompanist.MORRIS STAAT, Jr., escorted his daughter to the altar which was decorated with bas-andtions and white gladioli. She 1 pea red in a cage-style gown Alencon lace fashioned wit!sabrina neckline and bridalpoint sleeves. The back of th gown fell into a chapel train.Her fingertip veil of silk illusion was secured to a jeweled tiara. She carried a cascade arrangement of white daisies andminiature carnations centeredwith a corsage of white phalae-nopsis orchids.
