The igown of silk peau de sole with bateau neckline was cut on princess lines to '4 semi-fit. The A4ine-coat el imported ipeitit-ppint rose lace;'buttoned from a jewel neckline to empire waist and the slim set-in sleeves ended at the wrist. Her veil was of silk illusion and. petit-point lace •With headdress of lace and a single rose. Her bouquet was a jbow knot of trailing ivy and Phaleonopsis orchids.The bride was attended1 by I Mrs. Morris Smeltz of Winnipeg, who chose a slightly fitted^ lloordengtb gown of summer'' shades of gold and melon with an overlay of amber crystal or-, ganza, She carried a trailing ’ ivy bow knot,l_. . Mr. dames Ashton, brother , of the groom, was best man and the ushers were Mr. Kent Webster of Dauphin, and Mr,Ralph Lowes of Brandon, broth-| er of the bride.The mother of the bridle' *wore a turquoise lace dress1 with matching three-quarterj length coat. Her corsage was ofpink sweetheart roses and her accessories were white.The groom’s mother chose ' an aqua ensemble of crepe and lace. Mr. Darcy Wershler, broth-I cr-in-law of the bride, proposed the toast to the bride at the reception held iin the Knox Churchauditorium'.For travelling the bride wore a dress of blue floral cotton topped with a coat of green organdy.
