I •Pat Kibodeaux/Are Wed In Lake ArthurLAKE ARTHUR (Spl.) — Whiteblossoms keynoted the decor for the wedding of Miss Patricia Anne Kibodeaux to Mr, Eugene Landry Saturday morning at 9 o’clock at Our Lady of the Lake Church.The brtde is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Kibodeaux while the parents of the groom are Mr. rnd Mrs. Issac Landry, all of Lake Arthur.Officiating at the double-ring ceremony and the nuptial mass was Rev. Fernand Gouaux Tra-sented b y Mrs. Louise Bertrand ditional wedding music was pre-at the organ. She also accompanied Mrs. Agnes Gaidry, soloist, as she rendered “Panis Angelieus. * Baskets holding arrangements of white gladioli and greenery flanked the altar. Distinquishing the family pews were white satin rib-bions implemented with sprigs of greenery.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a traditional bridal white gown of imported Chantilly lace. The fitted bodice, featuring a scalloped neckline embroidered in irndescant sequins nnd nearls, came to a point in the long tapering sleeves and bodice back. The bouffant skirt used at vantage points.A queen’s crown, festooned with seed pearls and mother of pearls outlining its points held a triple \ tiered fingertip veil of illusion.Arranged over her missal was r laree purple orchid encircled with stephanotis and showered with ribbon streamers. She carried crystal prayer beads.Mi ss Ramona Price attended the bride as maid of honor. She wore a street length dress of yellow chiffon and taffeta featuring a bauteau neckline and large ruffed sleeves. A folded cummerbund accented the waistline. She wore a matching hat of chiffon ruffles and white gloves and shoes and carried a missal crested with white and yellow rosebuds and satin streamers.Serving as bridesmaids were Miss Lois Courts, cousin of the bride, and Miss Cecil Duhon. They wore dresses identical to that of the maid of honor with Miss Courts in blue and Miss Duhon in pink.Joseph Landry served his cousin as best man with Murphy Courts and Charles Constantine a s groomsmen. 1T The home of the bride’s parents formed the setting for the reception which followed with a green and white theme prevailing. She wore awhite feathered hat, white shoes and the orchid from her bridal bouquet.Upon returning from a wedding trip, the newly-married Mr. and Mrs. Landry will reside in Lake Arthur where the groom is employed. Both are graduates ofLake Arthur High School.Mrs. Kibodeaux, mother of the bride, chose to wear for her daughter’s wedding a woodland green figured sheath with matching jacket. With the ensemble she wore bone accessories and a smallhat framed in brown and green blossoms. Her corsage was a single white orchid.Mrs. Landry, mother of the bridegroom, wore a charcoal grey sheath accented by large black buttons. Her accessories were of black patent and she wore a white orchid corsage.ian
