Wednesday, August 22, sit the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Mercer, occurred the marriage of their daughter Grace to Mr. Charles Rogers, of Battle Creek, Iowa. Rev. Gardner performed the ceremony which took place at noon and was followed by an elaborate wedding dinner. Miss Ella Mercer and Miss lingers were bridesmaids and the groomsmen were Messrs. George Mercer ami Irving l’at terson. Mr. Rogers is a carpenter by trade and a tine appearing young man. We congratulate him upon having won for his wife one of Rippey’s fairest girls. The best wishes of many friends will go with them to theii new home in Battle Creek, Iowa.
