Canoy-Knight vows planned for JanuaryMr. and Mrs. William C. Canoy, Jr. of Greenville announce the engagement of their daughter. Lesley Michelle Canoy. to Eric Lcgrand Knight of Fort Worth. Texas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Edward Knight of New Canaan. Conn.The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Canoy Sr. and Mrs. Frances L. Laws and the late Robert Lee Laws, all of Greenville.The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Mabel Ann Girod and the late Hcrschcl Curgis Girod of Idalou, Texas, and Mrs. Mary Ellen Knight, and the late Baldwin Legrand Knight of Tyler. Texas.Miss Canoy is a graduate of Washington School in Greenville. She received a bachelor of science degree in fashion merchandising from Delta State University. At Delta State University she was actively involved in Delta Delta Delta Sorority, was Presi-Rhonda Lynn LindsaySpecialLesley Michelle Canoy and Eric Legrand Knightdent of Panhellcnic Council, a Delta Model, and was selected as a DSU Beauty. She is presently employed as a flight attendant with American Airlines in Dallas/ Fort Worth.Knight is a graduate of New Canaan High School in Connecticut. He is presently attending Texas Christian University, where he will receive a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice. At TCU he is actively involved in Delta Tau Delta Fraternity where he served as an officer He is currently enrolled in an internship with the Forrest Hill, Texas, Police Department. He is also employed with Altai Software Inc. as a telemarketer in Arlington. Texas.Wedding vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. on Jan. 8 at First Baptist Church in Greenville, with a reception to follow at the Greenville Yacht Club.
