Nerva L. LudwigNerva L. Ludwig, 85, of Rio, W. Va., died Friday evening at her home after a lengthy illness,Mrs. Ludwig was born at Mathias, W, Va., on June 15, 1896, the daughter of Philip and Frances Strawderman Sager. She was a member of Sperry’s Run United Methodist Church.Her husband, Branson G. Ludwig, died in 1965. Two sons are also deceased, Ward in 1965 and Arnold in 1973.Survivors include three daughters, Mildred Bowers of Suitland, Md„ Josephine Slater Sirk of Germantown, Md.t and Minnie Heishman of Rio; six sons, Philip Ludwig of Capon Springs, W. Va., Clifton Ludwig of Cabin John, Md., John Ludwig of Rockville, Md., Glenn S. Ludwig of Silver .Spring, Md„ Marvin D. Ludwig of Rio, and Ray W. Ludwig of Moorefield, W. Va.; 28 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.A funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Sperry’s Run United Methodist Church, with the Rev, Robert Nair and the Rev. Chester Chaney officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.Friends will be received at Loy Funeral Home in Wardensville, W. Va., Saturday 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.The family requests that memorials be in the form of donations to the Sperry’s Run United Methodist Church Building Fund. ,
