Kathryn L. Pitcock Takes Nuptial VowsSt, Joseph the Worker Catholic Church was the setting for the marriage of Miss Kathryn Louise. Pitcock and Peter Paul Altomare Saturday, Oct. 25. The Rev, Fr. James P. Altmeyer officiated for the open church, double-ring ceremony.Nuptial selections were provided by Mrs. Robert Nau, organist, and Mrs, Paul Leeson,soloist.\Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ranta of 3020 Elm St. and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Altomare Sr. of 123 Scenic Drive.Mr. Ranta, stepfather of the bride, gave her in marriage. She wore a floor-length gown'of silk organza accented with peau d’ange lace. The lace bodice featured a high scalloped neckline and short scalloped lace sleeves. The gown featured a bow at the back which fell into a detachable train, trimmed with peau d’ange lace.Her silk illusion veil was held in place by matching organza and lace stand-up bow with blossom and pearl trim.She carried a lace-covered Bible topped with a white orchid, pink sweetheart roses and streamers of lillies-of-the-valley with picquantc ribbon.iMrs. Linda Pitcock, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Laura Jo Long, Miss Marsha Edwards and Miss Carol Torchio. Tina Torchio was flower girl and Leoul Torchio was ringbearer. They are both cousins of the groom and the children of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Torchio of 124 Bel I view Drive, Weirton.Ed Bowman was best man. Ushers were Sal Anzalone. Ted Dragisich and Tom Johnson.A buffet dinner was held in the K. of C. Hall. The couple went on a wedding trip to Bermuda and will reside at 159 Palm Drive. Va.Mrs. Altomare was graduated from Madonna High School in 1906 and is employed by Weirton Studio.Mr. Altomare was graduated from Madonna High School in 1904. He completed two years at West Virginia University before enlisting in the U.S. Army. He has recently returned from a year's tour of duty in Vietnam and is employed in the Tin Mill Department of Weirton Steel Division.
