The ceremony took place in St. Benedict church at 11 o’clock High Nuptial Mass. Rev. Thto Gross officiated.The altar was banked with gladiolis, chrysanthemums, ferns and palms. Margery Hayes, soloist, from St. Peter's church, Chicago. accompanied by Sue Murphy as organist, sang. “On This Day, O Beautiful Mother,” while the bride, accompanied by her bridesmaids, presented a bouquet of chrysanthemum^ to the Blessed Virgin Mary, she also sang “Ponis Angelieus.”The bride approached the altar on the arm of her father, she was lovely in white slipper satin. The lace panel and lace trim on the very long train was imported from Belgium. A beaded tiara adorned her illusion fingertip veil and blusher. Her slippers were white satin. A natural orchid was daintily tied on the white prayer book she carried.Georgine Roppo of Roseland. cousin of the bride, as maid of honor, wore dubonnat velvet with flesh colored tulle with sequins was her headdress. A camellia was on the white prayer book she carried.Her bridesmaids were former classmates from St. Louis Academy. They were Gloria Bonet, Jean Brazili and Marie Marcone, all frorrv Roseland. They wore identical gowns of royal blue. Pale blue tulle with sequins were their headdress and a camellia was on each prayer book they carried.Bestman was Louis Kolodziej of Harvey. Ushers were Stanley Fili-piak of Harvey and Clarence M indeman. The gentlemen wore tuxedos with carnation boutonnieres.Mothers ot the bride and groomappeared in black suits with black accessories. Their corsages were white baby mums.The bridal party and immediate families enjoyed a wedding break-last at Feltman’s, Beverly Hills.At 6 o’clock a sumptuous dinner was served for the relatives in the home of the bride. Immediately lollowing a reception was held in Sobczak’s hall. Two hundred guests extended congratulations to the newlyweds then danced to tr e music of a three piece orchestra. At 10:30 a buffet lunch was served. They ,vere recipients of many lovely gifts.Later they departed for New York to spend them honeymoon, then will reside at 2037 Canal st. The groom is a landscaper in Chicago while ti t bride is with Libby, McNeill Libby.Out of towr guests were from, Toronto, Canada. Bureau, Harvey, Hegewisch, Roseland and Chicago.The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Peter Sobczak, 2037 Canal st. The groom’s mother is Mrs. Laura Pople of Bureau. The groom’s sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. John Fry, of Bureau, atended the wedding attended the wedding.
