Scott, which was solemnised at high noon at the home of the bride's parents, Dr. and Mrs. W. B. Cochran, on North Broad street. This beautiful home was docorated for this delightful occasion with a profusion of srailax, palms and ferns, the color scheme of green and pink being carried out with a profusion of most wonderful Radiance roses and pink shaded lights, shedding a soft glow on a scene of exquliite beauty.The guests were greeted at the door by Miss Irene Davis, Mrs. 0. H. Fowler of Decatur, and Messers. W. B. Cochran, Jr., and Judson Scott of Decatur. The bride's book was kept by Miss Malvina Mitchell. Immediately preceding the ceremony, Mrs. J. F. Bowman sang “Because, the accompaniment on the piano being rendered by J Miss Edna Stacey.The bride and groom descended the lt;stairway and stood before an impro- J vised altar of palms, ferns and Radiance roses, where Dr. W. M. Harris of I the Baptist church, performed the ceremony. During this time Miss 0 Stacey softly played “Salite D'Ar- J mour. vA reception followed the ceremony, * during which a delicious salad course * was served by Misses Malvina Mitch- a ell, Alice May Norton. Edna Tyson, a Virginia Cochran, Rosalyn Horn and c Mrs. William Copeland. (The bride wore a handsome traveling dress of midnight blue ploret twill, f with a hat of henna to match her go- * Ingaway coat. Mr. and Mrs. Scott j. left Immediately after the reception, t for points in Florida. Mr. Scott of g Decatur, is now connected with the li stato highway department, at Gaines- 1 vllie, and Is a young man of exceptional ability and has many friends throughout the state. (Many handsome presents were re- 1 ceived by the young couple, including silver, cut glass and many articles of fare beauty for the home. sThe out-of-town guests included: Mrs. O. II.
