The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Ling, Central City, RD 1.Pastor Carlton Howells performed the double-ring ceremony at which the bride’s father gave her in marriage. She wore a floor-length gown of Chantilly lace with scalloped neckline trimmed in seed pearls and sequins, and long sleeves. A sweep train fell from the full skirt over taffeta and net. Her fingertip veil was caught by a crown of pearls. She carried a cascade of white carnations interspersed with lily of the valley and fern.Her matron-of-honor was her sister, Mrs. Betty Frazier of Somerset, RD 6, in a gown of white net and light and deep blue net, accented by a crown of blue velvet. Her cascade was made of light and dark blue tinted carnations.The bridesmaids were Joanne Glovach of Johnstown, and Charlene Harris, Altoona. Their sleeveless gowns were of shrimp colored chiffon. Short veils fell from their crowns of velvet to match the gowns. They carried cascades of yellow-tinted carnations.The flower girls, Carol and Elaine Ling, nieces of the bride, were adorable in dresses of pink nylon, carrying baskets of roses and petals.
