Lyle, 42 Locust street,! on October 20. |The ceremony wu performed at 2 p. m. in St. Paul's Lutheran church, Rev. Kore G. Gustafson reading the service before an altar trimmed with munis, ferns and palms. Mrs. Emil Jacobson, organist, played ‘‘The Lord's Prayer” “O Promise Me and the tradition- j al wedding marches, as well u the accompaniment for Gladys Jensen, who sang I Love You Truly” and “Because.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a frock of embroidered nylon fashioned with sweetheart neckline, long sleeves, net overskirt and train. Her fingertip veil fell from a juKet cap trimmed with orange blossoms. Her matron. of honor and sister-in-law, Mr*. Charles Dinsmoor, Chicago, EL, wore embroidered satin and chiffon, a satin and net headdress, and carried yellow mums with green sprays. Other attendant* were Shirley Benson, MeadviUe; Betty Lyle, sister of the bridegroom, and the little flower girl, Bonnie Belle Dinsmoor, Chicago. Miss Benson wore pink net with satin and net headdress and carried lavender mums; Miss Lyle wore yellow chiffon with matching net and satin headdress and carried bronse mums; and little Miss Dinsmoor wore a blue taffeta dress trimmed with net ruffles. The bride's mother wore black with fuchsia, black accessories and t white mums; the bridegroom's f mother wore a two piece jersey dress in yellow and brown, with motching accessories and white mums.Ellsworth Lyle, Jr., waa his brother’s best man and ushers were Charles Dinsmoor, Chicago; Stanley Lyle, uncle of the bridegroom.A reception for 18$ guest* followed at the YWCA, where a buffet table was decorated with mums and centered with a three-tiered wedding cake topped with tiny bridal figures. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. F. Simpson, Mr. and Mrs. August Lawson, Janice Lawson, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Larson. Mr. and Mrs. Sven Hammeratein, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lawaon, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nelson and daughter, Shirley, Mr. and Mrs. Nina Rapp, Jamestown, N. Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Nelson, Ludlow; Shirley Benson, MeadviUe; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dinsmoor and Bonnie Belle Dinsmoor, Chicago.For a wedding trip to Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Canadian points, Mrs. Lyle chose a cherry red dress, black accessories and corsage of white mums. She attended local schools and has been employed by the New Process Company for two and one-half years. Those who honored her with pre-nuptial parties were Mrs. Ralph Rapp and Mrs. Myron Rapp, her aunts; Mrs. E. L Lyle, Sr., and Betty Lyle, mother and sister of the bridegroom; and girls of the New Process shipping department, who gave a dinner at Geracimos*.The bridegroom, graduate of the local high school, served In the TJ. S. Army, with two and one-half years in the Pacific area, and is employed at the Hammond Iron Works. They will live at 113 Lexington avenue.
