Pay Tribute toi , • •Couple Married Over 55 Yearsi ■ . • * ■ . . : ■Mr. and Mrs. Will Steeves of New Market, who celebrated their fifty-fifth wedding anniversary Sunday, were honored at a family dinner at noon. All their children and grandchildren, except one, were present.Mr. and Mrs. Steeves were married at the Tobias McNutt home west of Clarinda on October 2G, 1S8G.Mrs. Steeves, born and reared in Page county, became the bride of Mr. Steeves, who had moved to Page county from Van Uuren county. The couple have spent their entire married life in Page and Taylor counties.Mr. and Mrs. Steeves have had five children, one of whom died in infancy. The four living children. Stacey Steeve of Lincoln, Nehr.; Glen Steeves of Bedford; Wayne Steeves of New Market, and Mrs. Hobart Owens of Essex were all present at the fete.Other guests in addition to the immediate family were Mrs. Stacey Steeves and daughter of Lincoln; Mrs. Wayne Steeves, Hobart Owens and farnjly, Ida McNutt, S. A. McNutt, Claude Neimier, Willard Burton and Mary Hill of Gravity,Several friends paid the aged couple short social calls during the afternoon open house.
