Saturday evening, October23 '- 'ret Ferguson. 26. was shot andseriously wounded at a home on Star Hill, five miles east of Grayson. Henry Feity, 41. was arrested by Sheriff Geo \V. Castie as the man who shot Ferguson three tmres. jAt an Ashland hospital where Ferguson was rushed following the shoot- -ins the patient was reported to be in a ' fair condition. One of the shots r penetrated the right arm. another the right lung and the third struck in the spine.No Previous TroubleFrom what Sheriff Castle learned of the shooting the two men had been the best of friends and there was no trouble between them prior to the shooting.Sheriff Castle said he found Felty, after a lengthy search, at the home of Sam Smith. Felty was in bed but was fully clothed, the officer said.% 5Questioned by the sheriff, Felty said he didn’t know anything about the shooting. From other persons who are said to have been eye-witnesses of the affair or nearby, the sheriff learned that the two men had been drinking and the shooting came as a climax to a quarrel.
