Robinson Argus: Monday, 18th, ayoung couple from Sullivan, Inch— Grant Hammond and Miss Minnie Burton—came to Robinson, stopped at the Robinson House, and the young man went to the clerk’s office to get a marriage licence, but as he was under age this was refused, and at his request the clerk telegraphed his father, who answered, giving his consent to the marriage. The young man filing affidavit that the young lady was of lawful age the license was then issued, Justice Steel called on, and the ceremony performed at the hotel. Tuesday morning they returned home, we presume for the forgiveness and blessing of the bride’s parents.
