Marjorie Deering Weds W. B. Wallis October 11Miss Marjorie Deering, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Deering of Postvilie, was married to William B. Wallis, son of Mrs. Paula Wallis of Panama City, Florida. Saturday, October 11, at three o’clock in the afternoon, in Northminster Presbyter inn church in Seattle, Wash.The Rev. A. Taylor Dunlap officiated at the double, ring ceremony. The Rev. Dunlap is a graduate of Coe College, Cedar Rapids, attending that school when Miss Deering was also a student there.Attending the couple were the bride’s former roommate, Mrs. William Forrest, and James Johns ofSeattle.The bride wore n winter white wool suit, with aqua hat and black accessories. Her corsage was made up of white orchids.The bride chose her parents’ 44th wedding anniversary for her own wedding day.Mrs. Wallis graduated from Post-ville high school with the class of 1038 and later attended Coe College. For the past three years she has been employed as an accountant with George H. Prichard, certified public accountant.Mr. Wallis is an optician with the Columbia Optical Co.. of Seattle.After a short wedding trip to eastern Washington, the couple will make their home in Seattle.
