Carlson, 10621 S. Campbell ave., planned a surprise birthday celebration for their mother, Mrs. Conrad Brown, who was 87 years old.Alice Haan, 11006 S. Whipplesi, and Martin Boersems, 831 W. 107th »t, were married in the Roeeland Christian parsonage, XL 108th st, and S. Princeton ave., on October 20. The bride-to-be,was honored at parties given by Mrs. Dorothy Haan, 11042 S» Trumbull ave.; Mrs. Ines DeYoung, 323 W. 107th at, and Mrs. Jennie Van Beavem.
