Pretty Wedding At Monroeville.A pretty wedding was solemnized this morning at 8 o'clock at St. Joseph’s Catholic church in Monroeville, the contracting parties being Miss Cecelia Greenfehler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Greenfelder, of Ridgefield township and Mr. Frank Schaffer, son of Mrs. Peter Shaffer, who resides north of Monroeville in Erie county. Rev. Nicholas Schmitz, pastor of St. Joseph’s performed the ceremony, reading the nuptial high mass. Many relatives and friends witnessed the ceremony.The bride wras attended by Miss Lillian Schaffer, sister of the groom, while the groom’s attendant was Mr. Joseph V. Greenfelder, the bride’s brother. The bride and bridesmaid wore dark blue costumes becomingly fashioned, the bride carrying a white prayer-book and her attendant a bouquet of pink and white chrysanthemums.At the close of the ceremony a bountiful wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents, where “all went marry as a marriage bell.”Mr. and Mrs. Schaffer waived the customary wedding trip, but in about two weeks will leave for Navarre, O., where they will go at once to housekeeping. The groom is employed in the W. A- L. E. shops at Brewster.
