Marriage at High Noon ThunHiay NearMr. GilcHtl,%At a pretty home wedding at the pleasant home of Mr. and Mrs. Reese Bmr, north ot town, at high noon, Wednesday, October 27, Miss Hattie D. Burr became Mrs. Win. Creasap. In the presence of the immediate relatives of the contracting parties, Rev. M. T. Ayers ofliciating. When the clock proclaimed the noon hour, Mrs. Alice Hiskett, sister of the bride, began to play the wedding march, and soon the bride and groom appeared, takingtheir places in the archway between the dining room and the parlor. Rev.Ayers met them and a short ceremonymade them man and wife. After congratulations the guests were invited out to partake of the wedding dinner. This was beyond the power of pen to describe; meats, pastry, fruit and bonbons all had their places, and all were of the best that skill and money could piocure. The bride looked lovely in a stylish costume made of grey doth, trimmed in astrakan of a lightershade, which was indeed very becoming. The groom, in the conventional black, was as fine a looking young man as one would wish to see, and looked proud enough of his fair young bride. Mis. Creasap leaves scores or friends in Caldington and Cardington loses in her one of her handsomest and best looking young ladies, whose pleasantdisposition has been the means of making her hosts of friends. Mi. Creasap is to be congratulated upon his choice and report tells us that he is worthy of the wife he has won, being a young man universally respected in his own home town, bearing an enviable reputation as a model young man. Mr. and Mrs. Creasap left for Marion, their future home, at 3 o’clock, followed by many good wishes They will begin housekeeping immediately in a new house on Windsor street, Marion.
