Embich—F ortune.The marriage of Mr. Edwin Embich, of Lancaster, O., and Miss Minnie Fortune, of this place, was solemnized Tuesday evening at the Main street M. E. church. The ceremony was performed jointly by Revs. H. C. Ashcraft, of this place, and G. D. Wolfe, of Evansville. The church was nicely decorated with evergreens and flowers. Only a few of the chosen friends of the contracting part'es were present at the service. The attendants were Messrs. Chas. Taylor, Cullen Shoptaugh, Frank Forrest and Will McKenney, a.bo little Russel and Miss Eveline Fortune, the nephew and and neice of the bride. The weddingomarch was played by Prof. John Glasscock. The groom was supported by the the bride's mother, Mrs. M. Fortune, while the bride herself was attended bv her brother, William Fortune. Thebride was dressed in grey crepe de chene*en traiue, and carried pink flowers. After the marriage ceremony, a reception was tendered the happy couple at the residence of Mrs. M. Fortune, where elegant refreshments were served. The bride and groom left on the night train for a tour East, after which they willreturn to Lancaster, O., their futurehome.
