FutureMiss Alice Vrnnum, bride elect of Mac Martin, has be**nhonored at a series of parties and showers given here and in Waoo.Friends of the bride-elect at Baylor University honoredher with a pers'wial shower in Waco at the home of Mrs. Tommy Lou Whitten burgAbout 20 guests attended Refreshments were served from a table covered with an orange cloth overlaid with cream lace Centerpiece wasan arrangement of bronze and yellow mums Punch and cake squares topped with yellow roses were served from the table which was appointed with crystal Corsages for the hon-oree and her mother, Mrs Edward S. Vennum, were rust chrysanthemums.Mmes Jimmy Moorehead, Stanley Sommers and Karrell Cox were hostesses for a kitchen and linen shower given at the Sommers home, 802 Pin Oak. High school friends of Miss Vennum were guests. White carnations with greenerywere used in a pyramid arrangement to center the table which was covered with awhite lace cloth.Hostesses for a display tea shower attended by about 150 guests at the home of Mrs .John Webb, 1618 Cresthaven. were Mmes Webb, Floyd Gunn, J. M. Farrell, Jr , W I) Farrar, J W. Counts, Roy Wood and George W. Hawkes Guests were Arlington friends of the engaged couple and their parents. Mr and Mrs. Edward S. Vennum. andMr and Mrs James W.
