KENNETH WAYNE KELLERjouisMt.Miss Barbara Jean Wehmeyer and Kenneth Keller were married Saturday noon, September 26, at St. Robert's Roman Catholic church in St. Charles, Mo,., with the Reverend Anthony F. Scholton officiating in the presence of a large group of relatives and friends. The altar was decorated with palms, ferns, and two vases filled with white mums.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank F. Wede-meyer of St. Charles, Mo., former residents of this city, and the bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Lester D. Keller of Bonnie.Given in marriage by her father, the bride was lovely in a floor length wedding gown fashioned in bridal taffeta. The fitted bodice had a pretty scalloped sabrina neckline with imported Chantilly lace detail and full length sleeves. The gracefully controlled skirt had a detachable watteau Chapel train with lovely Chantilly lace motifs and the two-tiered elbow-length veil of silk illusion was attached to a crown of seed pearls and crystals. She carried a white prayer book adorned with a white orchid and stephanotis tied with white satin streamers.Miss Marilyn Agnes Wehmeyer of St. Charles, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a lovely street length dress with matching shoes and a crown of pearls with shoulder length veil attached and carried a bouquet of bronze mums tied with satin streamers.James Neal Williams of Mt. Vernon was best man and the ushers were Bill Wehmeyer and John Boerding, cousins of the bride. Frank Capler, organist and vocalist, presented a medley of nuptial selections including “On This Day. O Beautiful Mother, and “Ava Maria.The bride’s mother wore a pastel pink suk-dress with matching accessories and a corsage of orchid pom poms. The bridegroom’s mother wore a royal blue dress with black velvet accessories and a corsage of yellow pom poms A reception for 150 guests was held in the hall of St. Rorromeo’s church after which the newlyweds left for Peoria. In that city, the bride is employed as a reservation agent for Ozark Airlines and the bridegroom is employed with the Caterpillar Tractor Company. Both are graduates of the Mt. Vernon Township High School.For the trip to Peoria, the bride changed into a two-piece white ensemble with red shoes and purse and she wore the orchid from her bridal bouquet.In Peoria, they are making their home at 926 Hamilton Blvd. Apt. 307.A bridal shower was given on August 31 by her sister.
