LA PALMA NEWSCpL Watson Weds Cpl- Homer Ross Watson Was united in marriage with Miss Lu-eile Douglas in a home ceremony at the home of the bride’s grandparents, Mr, and Mrs.'D. O. Mar-tin, in Florence, Sunday, October 15- Corporal Watson is the oldest son of’ Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Watson, of Randolph. His bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl H. Douglas, of Florence.Only members of the immediate families were present for the ceremony which was performed by the Rev. Mr Earl M.. Ward, a close friend of both families. The bride was attended by her sister, Mary Louellen Douglas and the groom’s brother, Wade Watson, was best man.Miss Douglas has ence, most of her graduated from F.Higli School in Mayj, 1944.The groom was bpm in Phoenix, but spent^ most of his life in this Valley. He is a graduate of Cool-1|ved inwFlor-life, and was orence Unionridge Union High School, class of 43, and entered the U. S. Army Air Corps on January 3, 1944. UPresent at * the ceremony were Mr. 'and Mrs. Carl H. Douglas, Mary Louellen and Carl Douglas, Jr.; Mr. and Mrs.. D. O. Martin and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Martin, Miss Betty Carol Ashby and Miss Cornelia Morgan^ of Florence; Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Watson, Wade .Watson, Reba Watson, Reba Watson and Stanley Watson, of Randolph.A lawn luncheon was served to the bridal ‘ party, following the ceremony.. The young couple plan to establish a home in Tucson, where the: groom is In training.Mr. and Mrs. per Woods, of Randolph, are parents of a son, born at Florence Hospital October IB. .Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Woods and sons, Jay and Billy, returned to their home iri Randolph last week. They have been working in California.
